Caelen by Jon Renau captivates the perfect everyday style as the first ever open cap design created with loose beach waves. Hitting just above the shoulders, this open cap construction offers a shake and go style, making getting out of the door easy and fast with minimal effort. I am sort of on the fence about this wig, but ultimately decided to return it.
GOOD: very cute, modern style and the waves towards the bottom are lovely. Great length for those not used to wearing wigs, hair ends at the nape of the neck. Excellent fit for an average size head, which is good because I didn’t see any way to adjust it. Very realistic color but it’s a tad too dark for my skin tone.
BAD: Way way way too much hair on this wig. Definitely needs work by a professional to make it look even slightly natural. Out of the box, it sort of reminds me of a Halloween wig. Not the texture, but the amount of hair and the way it’s styled… kinda Party City vibes.
I really considered keeping this wig and getting it styled to suit me, but I just didn’t want to take the risk and be stuck with a wig I hate and can’t return. If this style goes on close out, I would probably reconsider.
