A shorter crown with length in the front adds volume and offers varied styling options. This In Charge wig is my absolute favorite. Every time it goes on sale, I try to pick up a new color - ha! Now that I've been wearing wigs for, oh, maybe a year or so (although I "wear" my own hair plenty, too), I know what I like and what I don't much moreso than when I first started. Truthfully, I'm not a big fan of heat-friendly fibers, which leads me to why I particularly like some of the features of In Charge. One of my main likes is that the back is quite short, but not too short. No problem covering the nape, but also no problems with it rubbing against my shoulders or neckline. Back when I actually had plenty of hair - ha! - I was NEVER a short-hair person. I'm being forced into it now, through cancer treatments, etc. That leads me to what I may love most about this wig, and that is that, while the back is short and trouble-free, the front still feels like I have plenty of hair. That being said, I know that can sometimes be a problem in keeping it out of my face. I learned from my favorite YouTube wig expert that all it takes is to heat the front hairline with my hairdryer, while holding the hair back, and it will give me the lift I need to hold the front out of my face. That's all I do. I'm lucky, too, that my hairdryer has a "cool" setting, so I can switch to cool to set it in place. This is my first lace front wig and I absolutely love it! It looks very realistic and the color, Iced Granita, is almost identical to my bio hair. I thinned it out a bit , which I have to do with almost all my wigs, and it looks so natural. It did come with wonky curves from being in the box, but thankfully a little bit of styling with my curling iron got it looking good.
