The open cap is light, cool, and comfortable to wear all day long. To further customize, have your stylist trim the bang or style it half up and half down.

I absolutely adore this wig. The smart lace front that Jon Reneau has developed really really works. It looks like the hair is actually coming out of my scalp!
People are always surprised after they’ve complemented my hair that I tell them it’s a wig— I purchased three of these so I could use them as my daily wigs with a rotation, and I’ve never regretted it!

The title of this review is the exact intent of my words. I love and hate this wig. I have purchased Katherine prior, and I’ve always had the same issues which I will mention in a moment. But first I am going to mention the positives that I’ve experienced with Katherine: what I like best about it is that it is very budget friendly and is a good starter if you’re new to wearing wigs. It is SO lightweight, and it is VERY comfortable. It’s the perfect length for me and gives me some much needed body, but doesn’t appear bulky at all, therefore, it has a very natural, realistic look. People are always very shocked if I reveal that I’m wearing a wig. What I do not like about Katherine is the very fine, zigzag part that looks so very fake and very unnatural. It appears that the reason for this is to hide the wefts because there is otherwise no part anywhere on the wig. The permatease to the crown area is also very visible. The way around both of these issues is that I brush it back and secure it with a barrette across my crown area into a half up, half down style to get rid of that unnatural looking zigzag part and to hide the permatease and rows of wefts. Then I pull just a few wisps of bangs out from the lace to soften my forehead area. I also wish Katherine was available in the California blondes. I’m not so sure if I’ll buy Katherine again; when the times comes to where there is not much life left to this wig I may try another wig comparable in weight and length.

I am super excited about Katherine. Out of the box shook her out and put her on! A little stying and she looks great. She is so close to my natural color that it's hard to tell it's not my real hair. My self-esteem is boosted. I was really depressed about my hair thinning because of menopause and autoimmune issues. Now I can go out with confidence. She is soft and very comfortable. I bought some good wig shampoo/conditioner/Spray and a wig brush to keep her healthy. Great price too.
