Long TP Mono LG | Synthetic Hair Topper (Mono Top)
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
    Good Quality, But...

I ordered (and kept) both this and Amore Medium Wavy TP Mono | Synthetic Hair Topper (Mono Top). The quality appeared almost equivalent to Ellen Wille, my favorite in synthetic toppers. The volume of hair wasn't overwhelming. they were secure and comfortable to wear. The slightly reduced rating is due to two problems: The color SILVER-STONE, which appears silver in online photo, with a few dark hairs for depth, was totally brown with a few silver hairs....'way too dark for my mostly-silver, formerly blonde, hair. I tried my trick with too-dark human hair toppers, leaving them in a sunny window for a few days, but these synthetics didn't fade, as does human hair. The second problem was really unique: There was a coating of SOMETHING of the "hair". This one was not heat-friendly (for which I use large not-too-hot hot rollers) and the Medium Wavy one was heat-friendly (upon which I use a large, low-heat curling iron). Before handling both, I noticed they both looked dirty, in the way of oily teenage hair. As i recall, these were made in Indonesia, where they probably don't understand the West's obsession with squeaky clean hair! As I styled both, I noticed my hands were becoming shiny and sticky. I could best call my hands "waxy". Reminded me I'd seen ads for "wax spray" for wigs. I'm not familiar with that product, but, if that's what they're using, it's definitely being OVER-used! Still, I believe these are good products, despite the fact I may need to wash…
