The Razor Cut Shag Wig by TressAllure is a mid-length shag with razor cut layers that can be left piecey or brushed smooth for a sleek look. The special pre-teased roots lift without any of the bulk. This style is incredibly lightweight with a layered top and tousled volume at the sides and back.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
- Tone On Tone TressDimensional™ Colors - A blend made up of 7-11 different shades to make one salon inspired color with highlights, low lights, tips and rooted shades and depth.
- Cool Comfort Cap - The soft open net and open wefting allow for air flow. The stretch wefting provides secure comfort and molds itself to the contours of the head.
- Style-Able Heat Friendly Effortless Fiber Synthetic Fiber™ - A proprietary blend of synthetic fibers that perfectly replicate the density, feel and look of fine Human hair. Style-Able Effortless Synthetic Fiber™ can be straightened or curled. Our recommendation for styling Heat Friendly fiber is to stay between 275° F-300° F for best results.
- To straighten: take a 1 inch wide section starting at the roots and flat iron to the end. Once cooled the fiber will remain straight until heat is applied again.
- To Curl: wrap the hair around a curling iron and hold for 10 seconds. Slide the iron out and pin the curl in place until it has cooled. Once cooled the fiber will keep the curl until heat is applied again.

This is my first Tressallure wig. The basic cap fit is comfortable (I'm a 22.25" circumference) and it's fairly easy to tame it down with the warmth of your hand and style it with your fingers. There is some perma-tease, as you would expect in a basic cap construction, especially in the crown area and around the perimeter of the top panel. The fibres are soft with a light-to-medium denier. This will be my late fall/winter "walking the dog" wig and for running errands, because I think it will keep my head toasty warm. I did wear it on a warmer day and found it to be a bit of a "heat sink": it holds the heat from my head, so it will be too much for me in the warmer months (I live in SE Ontario, Canada).
The 44/56/60 dark grey, a fairly natural-looking salt and pepper colour, was darker than I expected and a bit darker than what's left of my biological hair, but I've grown to like it. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I do like the style as it reminds me of Lisa Rhinna's haircut. It's a low density wig so it feels very light which is good, but the front area feels/looks a little wiggy to me but again I'm working to feeling comfortable in wigs so this could be the reason I feel like it looks wiggy in the front/bang area. The color looks like my natural hair color.
The ear tabs don't come down enough to cover my natural hairline but with my hair peeking out it matches it. My head is on the larger side 23" so that could be the reason again I'm new to wigs. I'm going to try and work with the wig because I love the style and will probably wear it more in the summer time.
