    First wig ever and so happy it was this one

    Thryoid disease is leaving me with less and less hair. After decided I could not wear hats for the next several years, I "researched" wigs on YouTube until I felt comfortable purchasing one. I wasn't ready to invest in a human hair wig so I chose this one. Because it is longer than my current bio hair, I cut it. I needed my wig to look like I simply dyed and highlighted my bio hair to the public who know me. I also spent time shaping it away from my face to sit more natural and not cover my face. The lace front design is really seamless for my head. My only challenge is that the cap is slightly too large for my head so it doesn't sit completely 'flat' against my head causing a little rise in the hair on either side. My plan is to take the cap in so that there will be small folds that lie flat. I will probably work on the part to make it look more realistic as well. I received it on a Saturday evening and worked with it enough to wear to church the following morning. I even got compliments on my new hairstyle!
