Top Notch by Jon Renau is a mid-length top piece (hair topper) with a double monofilament base. Worn on the crown, this top piece integrates with your own hair to add body and give you total styling flexibility. The hair is 8 – 10 inches in length. The double monofilament top provides multi-directional styling and looks like natural hair growth. The extra layer of monofilament makes it smooth, soft and comfortable on the scalp.
Five pressure sensitive clips provide a secure fit. The ready-to-wear synthetic hair looks and feels like natural hair. Top Notch is great for adding extra volume and coverage to thinning hair at the crown. This is a supremely natural-looking, lightweight hairpiece – it weights just over two ounces.

Jon Renau synthetic topper fibers seem all to be made of Modacrylic - this must be a new fiber of recent, as the last 3 toppers I have purchased broke/break me out in cystic acne along my forehead and jawline.
Apparently Modacrylic contains microplastics which can be an irritant to skin. Sadly I can longer wear Top Notch in Laguna Blonde, which is pretty sad because I have been buying/wearing this for years and have not yet found another topper I love as much.
Sad.

There is no way I could wear this in public. It is so shiny it looks like barbie hair and using dry shampoo just changes the colour. Why can’t the manufacturer make synthetic hair look more natural considering they charge hundreds of dollars. There is far too much volume in the front.half of it would need to be cut away
